Working with the Barrio Logan community on developing the concept for this central art piece, it was crucial to find the theme that would not only be as bright as the famous Chicano Park, but would also highlight the local nature and history. With this, Ocean Nomads mural became a poem to the ocean, magnificent fish and hardworking fishermen of the past.
